Frequently asked questions
What Is Required Before My Dog Can Swim?
Pet Owners need to download and complete the Client Intake Form, Liability Agreement, and Swim and Play Rules. Email or bring printed forms to Rocket Dogs before the first swim.
How Much Does it Cost?
Does my dog need to be vaccinated to be able to swim?
Yes, except in certain cases not all dogs can have their vaccines due to health reasons. Contact us to discuss your dog's special situation. In all other circumstances, dogs must be current on their Distemper, Rabies, and Bordetella vaccinations.
Does my dog have to wear a life jacket?
No. Dogs that are proven swimmers do not have to wear life jackets. If you are unsure of your dog's ability to swim, we will provide you with a lifejacket to use. Dog owner's must attend the dog at all times. Dogs must never be left unattended.
What is your cancellation policy?
24-hour notice is required if you need to cancel. After 24-hours the swimming charge is non-refundable.
What happens if my dog pees, poops, or vomits in the pool?
The pool water is decontaminated and disinfected. Depending on the severity of the contamination, the session may have to be canceled. To avoid contamination, dogs must visit the potty area before swimming. 90% of dogs need a repeat visit to the potty area 10-15 minutes after they start swimming. We understand that accidents (pee/poop/vomit) happen, but decontamination fees apply.
My dog is aggressive, can he still swim here?
Yes! We recommend booking a private session, not a group session, to help keep your dog relaxed. For everyone's safety, all dogs must be leashed when entering and exiting the building.
How do I dry my dog after swimming?
Please bring a towel to dry your dog off after swimming. We provide complimentary use of our grooming dryer.
